Configuration table /GAL/QCP_CONF01

When QCopy is delivered, the database table /GAL/QCP_CONF01 is also made available. Normally, no special configuration is required in this table. Only if a domain/system configuration differs significantly from the SAP standard and QCopy does not have the full scope of performance, should the necessary adjustments be made here.

The adjustments can be made either for all systems (<SID> = ALL) or for a special system ID (SID). In case of overlaps, the system-specific setting wins. The list below shows the possible configuration parameters.

CONFIG_ITEM

VALUE

<SID>.LOG_DIRECTORY_PATH

e.g. /usr/sap/trans/log

<SID>.ALOG_PATTERN

e.g. ALOG++++.S01

(Wildcards ‚+‘ and ‚*‘ for one or multiple letters)

Pattern for reading the log files

<SID>.BUFFER_FILE_PATH

e.g. /usr/sap/trans/buffer/S01

<SID>.BUFFER_LINE_PATTERN

e.g. /+/<TRKORR> <TARCLI>

(The strings <TRKORR> and <TARCLI> are replaced by the corresponding values). SCHOULD NEVER BE NECESSARY!

<SID>.LOCAL_HIST_READ_FROM

e.g. 19700101

Date from which the local history should be read for comparisons. This must only be set if there are memory problems.

<SID>.RFC_MODE

Read ALOG tables via RFC on the corresponding system:

<empty>: Read locally on the execution system

‚X‘: Read by RFC on the corresponding system

<SID>.PROD_SHORT_ALOG

Must only be used in Copy mode for the production system.

If this parameter is set ('X'), only the productive ALOG up to the reference date is used.

This should only be necessary in case of memory problems.

<SID>.QA_IGN_SYSCPDATE

Must only be used in Copy mode for the QA system.

If this parameter is not set (initial), the 'system copy date' parameter is also applied to the QA system history. Otherwise, it must be set to 'X'.

<SID>.SAP_OBJECT_DET_NO_RECUR

When determining transports with SAP objects, do not proceed recursively. This means that no overlaps with overlaps with SAP transports are determined.

<SID>.NO_INTERSECTION_CACHE

This allows you to disable the overlap cache.

This is only necessary if dumps occur due to memory overflow.

<SID>.NO_NEW_TRS_ON_QUEUE_RESTORE

If this parameter is set ('X'), the new transport requests (released or imported in the previous system during QCopy) will not be added to the restored queue.

<SID>.NO_SAP_NOTE_DET

The parameter is obsolete (please use NO_SAP_NOTE_REMOVE instead) If this parameter is set ('X') the check if transports contain Notes is deactivated.

<SID>.NO_SAP_NOTE_REMOVE

If this parameter is set ('X') transports containing Notes will not be removed from Delta.

<SID>.NO_SAP_OBJECT_REMOVE

If this parameter is set ('X'), transports containing SAP objects are not removed from Delta.

<SID>.MULTI_CLIENT_MODE

Special mode to activate multiple clients. This should be set if more than one client is affected on the QA system.

<SID>.REF_HIST_ALWAYS_EMPTY

Must only be used in Copy mode.

The reference history should always be determined as empty. The real history is ignored.

<SID>.REF_QUEUE_FILTER

Enables the reference queue filter when set to 'X'. The parameter must be set for the QA system.

<SID>.REF_FILTER_OVTK_INCLUDE

Determines if the transports missing in the reference queue are added to the delta as overtakers.

  • empty (default): With user status = Yes, overtakers of a transport request that is not in the reference queue are added to the delta

  • N: Overtakers are NOT added to the delta

  • ALL: Reference-filtered overtakers are added to the delta, even if the predecessor is in the reference queue.

<SID>.REF_FILTER_REMOVE_DELTA

If this flag is set to 'X', missing requests in the reference queue are not only marked but also removed from the delta.

<SID>.HISTMAP_CONSIDER_CLIDEP

Consider client-dependence in the history mapping. This means that only the history of client-independent transports can be included in the mapping.

<SID>.EDIT_IMPORT_OPTIONS

If this option is set for the system to be adapted, a pop-up will appear before execution, where the import options can be changed.

<SID>.CONSIDER_NEW_REF_SYS_IMPORTS

If this parameter is set ('X'), new imports that have gone into production after the system copy are considered and the subscreen for post import processing is activated.

<SID>.SET_F_FLAG_IN_REF_SYS

If this parameter is set ('X'), the F flags in the production queue are set before importing new transports (which have run into production after the system copy).

<SID>.TRANSMIT_MODE

When QCopy reads the import queues, a tp transmit can be executed:

  • empty: no transmit (default setting)

  • C: collect without FTP

  • F: collect and execute FTP

<SID>.IGNORE_TOCS

If this parameter is set (X') all ToCs are silently ignored.

<SID>.FILTER_TOCS

If this parameter is set (X'), all ToCs are displayed in the proposal delta queue. By default, they are ignored for the time being, i.e. they are not included in the proposal queue. However, they can be added to or removed from the delta queue manually.
