Project Structure tab

Project structures help Conigma CCM users navigate the object tree, allow simple reporting and are suitable for workflow control and approval management. Project structures are master data that are maintained manually by Conigma CCM administrators ("Configuration --> Software Factory Management --> Projects / Products"; .

The figure above shows an overview of a triple project structure with its substructures. Technically, the nesting depth is not limited (however, methodically a limitation will make sense for the respective application).

The above project structure is divided into organization, business processes and SAP modules. The organisation is divided into a local development center and an off-shoring center. In addition, there are three business processes and numerous SAP modules. In this example project structure, only one single assigned change exists (=Change No. 579).

The following figure shows the Project Structure tab of this change.

This change is implemented by the payment processing team of off-shoring in Asia, concerns the SAP module FI and changes two business processes for modern, cashless payment procedures. The Change can be assigned to corresponding project structures using the search help of the tab shown above or (if customized) using drag and drop in the tree display of the project structures (see the first figure in this chapter).

In addition to manual maintenance of the project structures, it is also possible to change the structures via interfaces. The Conigma API can be extended accordingly if required.
