Partner tab

Partner functions form an important aspect of the IT organizational structure for Conigma CCM users. They are an essential part of the workflow and authorization control as well as approval management of Conigma CCM.

Typical partner functions are:

  • Release Manager

  • Change Manager

  • Requester

  • Change Managers

  • Developer / Customizer

  • Functional Tester

  • Technical Tester

  • SAP Basis

Depending on the configuration, the following object types can be assigned to all partner functions:

  • SAP Users

  • Conigma Users

  • Conigma User Groups

  • a combination of Conigma Users and Conigma User Groups

In Conigma Customizing, you specify for each of the above object types whether only a single assignment or also a multiple assignment is allowed. In addition, the authorization for role maintenance is defined in Customizing (for example, maintenance depends on the status of the change or is obligatory for the user).

A search help exists for the partner ID (= partner function) as well as for the object ID (= Conigma CCM user, etc.). The search help for the object ID can be customized to facilitate access for complex IT organizations with a large number of Conigma users.

There is an auto-complete functionality for Conigma CCM users. Here you can enter the beginning of the first or last name (with or without asterisk) instead of the object ID. Pressing Enter will search the Conigma CCM user directory. If a unique data record is found, the entry is replaced by the object ID of this user.

In the following example, Johann Fachtester is maintained as tester. The Auto Complete function is used for this. In the following figure, the first part of Johann Fachtester's name is entered in the object ID field.

After pressing Enter, the entered part of the plain name is automatically replaced by the object ID.
