Conigma CCM

Could not start application (/GAL/CCM_APPLICATION 000)

This error message is displayed if the execution of Conigma applications has been deactivated or restricted to administrators.

Solution

Please first clarify whether the deactivation was intentionally carried out due to maintenance work. In this case, unintentional reactivation should be avoided at all costs.

The execution of Conigma applications was deactivated at system level

Proceed as follows to correct this condition:

  1. Call transaction SE16 on the relevant system

  2. Display the contents of table /GAL/CCM_CORE00.

  3. Navigate to the entry with the key "APPLICATIONS"

  4. Change the corresponding value to "Enabled" (note upper/lower case!).

  5. Save your changes

  6. Update the table buffers (command /$SYNC)

  7. Start the Conigma Repository Browser

Execution has been restricted to administrators

Proceed as follows to correct this condition:

  1. Start the Conigma Repository Browser with a user that has administrator rights

  2. Open the context menu for the root node of the tree

  3. Select the context menu item "Edit global configuration"

  4. Navigate to the tab "Object editor"

  5. Navigate to the line beginning with "AUTHORIZATION.APPLICATION_ONLY_FOR_ADMINS="

  6. Delete all following characters after the character "="

  7. Save your changes
