Galileo Group is finalist in ALM-athon

Munich, 13 October 2022 – Galileo Group AG, a leading software provider for turnkey integrations for IT factories and for release, change and transport management for SAP® solutions, is in the final of the top teams of this year's ALM-athon. The hackathon, organised by SAP, takes place in the run-up to the SAP ALM Summit EMEA from 18 to 22 October in Mannheim. A jury of SAP experts selected Galileo Group's solution approach, based on the Conigma Connect™ integration platform, for the shortlist.

For the hackathon, SAP partners were asked the question: "How can partner solutions or third-party integrations benefit customers by extending SAP Cloud ALM with standard APIs?" A total of six SAP partners will present their solutions as finalists at the SAP ALM Summit EMEA. The winner will be chosen on-site by the attendees.

With the submitted proposal, Galileo Group is helping to show companies using SAP® technologies an easy way into the hybrid application lifecycle management (ALM) world that combines cloud and on-premises. Using a model IT factory, we will show how tools for IT service management, project and programme management, data analysis and visualisation, and test automation with Conigma Connect software enable lean hybrid ALM. In this case study, the following products are integrated: SAP Cloud ALM, Change Request Management implementation with SAP Solution Manager, Microsoft Azure DevOps / Atlassian Jira, Tricentis Testim and Grafana. This allows companies to continue using their tools while easily entering the world of SAP Cloud ALM. Conigma Connect™ also works with SAP S/4HANA® and SAP Solution Manager and is available in the SAP® Store.
